Module 3 - Week 14

I have managed to finish up my mausoleum, but I don't think it's going to be the finished product just yet. I did create a new skysphere that gave the environment a gloomy atmosphere. However, I did not do the mountains in the background yet. I am still catching up in this class. Now I just have vegetation and the mountains to make, then I can polish from there. I started working on the trees, so I'm hoping they come out well.

Mausoleum Update

 For this assignment, I have to catch up still. I have already remade the mausoleum three times and finally settled on one that is different pieces, rather than one. Also, it has game ready geo which the others did not. Below is the mausoleum with the high res roof and body. The rest is low poly as I'm still working on it.



I haven't fully made the textures yet as I'm waiting approval on the current one. I'm trying to make it as stylized as possible.

Week 13 - White Boxing and Concept

Week 12 - Custom Style Guide

 After the last few art style guides, we had to make a custom one using photos from our proxy build and details we would use in game rather than just references. Also, the pictures need to be the main focus rather than the descriptions as we want to get straight to the point.

Module 3 Week 9 - Proxy/Block Out

 The first step in the 3D game environment process is to proxy out your scene. This helps drastically because all you have to do once you make the assets is replace the proxy geometry. For this environment I will be making a graveyard in the art style of Orb. This art style is stylistic. Some examples of this art style is Overwatch or Heroes of the Storm. This will be my first time making anything stylized.

Since I used Nick's scene that already had a background, sphere reflection, post process, etc. I replaced it with my environment but was unable to change the lighting/tint.
